NETWORK MARKETING – PEOPLE LOVE IT OR HATE IT!!

Rosalind GreenHave you ever wondered why some people flinch at the very mention of the word MLM?

For those of us who “get it”, we look sometimes in disbelief at those who don’t.

But then, as I thought about it, I had to go back many, many years… back to those years when I kept hearing about that “pyramid” thing. Well, that “thing” that I was also skeptical of at one time turned out to be my main bread and butter… and has been for many, many years. I also had to remind myself why so many people have a… let’s call it a ‘bad taste’ in their mouths about MLM.

It’s because someone somewhere either ‘drafted’ them in kicking and  screaming and then dumped them off without a clue of what to do next. How sad, but it happens all too often in our amazing industry. It may be because they just were never told that just like a “real” job or business, you actually do have to do some things… like work. Or maybe they got caught in the hype of what just a few people had accomplished. The deal is… if any one person can do it, that means it really can be done. Right?

So, what do you look for when you’re considering starting a new network marketing business? Well, it’s rarely just the company. Yes some are good, some not so much. What’s really important is finding out what type of systems are in place to help you promote your business. Are the systems duplicable? Are they easy for most people to understand? Or… do you have to spend months just trying to understand how to market it…?

MLM is by far, the best industry in the world for the average person to make really nice money from home. When you find a solid company, a powerful compensation plan, dedicated leadership and a marketing system that works, you have stepped into network marketing heaven.

The only thing left is to do next is to not just think about it, but actually take the systems and put action to them. Do that, and you will fall in love with MLM just like I have. Don’t believe me? Once you have your very first $10,000 month, you will. And it just gets better from there!!

  1. Since you posted this David Wood’s story shows how very, very important it is to choose your company (as well as your sponsor) are people of integrity. In light of that, it is always a good thing to read the Terms and Conditions and the Policies of any Network Marketing Business before you join.

  2. So true people need to understand to market daily their chosen company. If they purchased a $250,000 franchise they wouldn’t question it. So save the up front start up cost, invest in themselves and take daily action.

Ros you are so right. I am proud to be fortunate to work with you as you have provided a great example to follow for anyone who is new to the business of network marketing. Thanks.

  5. Wow, you really hit the nail on the head with some of your statements! I also believe one reason many people, including myself, have been leery of MLMs is a past experience. As in my case, the first one I was in, my sponsors promised all this help. But as soon as they had my money, it was nearly impossible to get them to answer their phone or emails. When you find a good sponsor though, that makes the world of difference.

  6. I can totally relate to this. Could you believe our economy if everyone participated? If more people “got it”? Nice post! And very nice blog too.
